Dream Big
In 2014 the Community Lunch Box Society starting looking for a property best suited for our Volunteer Centre and Bottle sorting facility. We wanted to invest in ourselves, in our programs and our community.
Success
In 2015 the Community Lunch Box Society found the perfect location, purchase the land and started the planning process for renovating the Volunteer Centre and building the Bottle Sorting Facility.
Recycling
Our beverage bottle sorting facility is a place where recycling is sorted and friendships are made. It was built to create positive part time employment for individuals with barriers and create revenue to help support our food programs.
Payoff
The Volunteer Support Centre and Bottle Sorting Facility is completed and starts opening opportunities for volunteers and individuals with barriers as well as providing a safe place to seek help.
